Jupiter Island Home Watch was founded by Duke and Iris Mullan, long‑time homeowners who understand what it means to care deeply about the place you live—even when you’re not there.

After first meeting in 2001 and being together ever since, Iris and Duke moved to Jupiter, Florida in 2023 to be closer to family, but it didn’t take long for Jupiter to feel like home. With our 8‑year‑old son and two dogs, we quickly became part of the community and found ourselves saying what many people do here: it feels like we’ve lived here forever.

That sense of belonging—and responsibility—is what shapes how we care for our clients’ homes.

Our Story

Why We Started Jupiter Island Home Watch

Before moving to Florida, we lived in Phoenix, Maryland, where our home was a farm complete with horses, chickens, and goats. Caring for property was part of daily life, and we learned firsthand how quickly small issues can grow when they’re missed or ignored.

When we decided to make a change, we knew we wanted more sunshine, a better quality of life, and a community where people truly look out for one another. Jupiter offered all of that—and more.

As homeowners ourselves, we saw a clear need for a reliable, professional home watch service in Jupiter and Jupiter Island—one that combines detailed oversight with clear communication and a genuinely personal approach. Jupiter Island Home Watch was built to meet that need.
